“Classicism and Modernity: Combined in Colors”, Museum Villa Vecchia, Rome Italy, 5 – 13 December 2010

The opening ceremony was attended by Maestro Julianos Kattinis, art critic Prof. Claudio Lepri, Prof. Mario Nicosia, the director of Villa Doria Pamphili Museum, Dr. Carla Benoit, and the Consul of the Embassy of Malta in Rome, Dr. Robert Pace.

Ewa Kalińska masterfully wields drawing. The artist possesses the confidence characteristic of Renaissance artists. Her line is decisive, delicate, sensitive, yet highly expressive.

Ewa has a unique ability to create depth in her works by skillfully scaling the silhouettes of her models. She depicts the human figure with extraordinary intuition and sensitivity, drawing the viewer into her magical space.

The backgrounds she prepares in advance enhance the emotional impact of her drawings even further. Eva Kalińska is an exceptionally talented artist.
