Ewa Kali\u0144ska was born in Gda\u0144sk, Poland. She studied at the Multimedia Academy in Gda\u0144sk, where she graduated with honors in Design, specializing in Multimedia Design under the guidance of Professor Wojciech Mokwi\u0144ski. She also studied at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw with Professors Barbara Szubi\u0144ska, Franciszek Starowieyski, and Jerzy Duda-Gracz, and further developed her artistic practice at the Boca Raton Museum of Art \u2013 The Art School in Florida.<\/p>\n
She is a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists and the Gda\u0144sk Society of Friends of Art. Her work encompasses painting, drawing, and artistic textiles. She focuses on still life, the human figure, and nature. Deeply rooted in the classical tradition of painting, her artistic practice is based on careful observation, drawing, and the pursuit of harmony, color, and form. She works in oil, acrylic, drawing, mixed media and applique.<\/p>\n
Her work has been exhibited in Poland, the United States, and Italy. In 2010, she received First Prize in the international art competition Natale di Roma<\/i> in Rome. In 2026, her painting A Quiet Moment<\/i> was selected for the international HerStory<\/i> exhibition organized by Manhattan Arts International. For many years, she has divided her life and artistic practice between Poland and Florida, drawing inspiration from both places.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
I do not create according to predetermined concepts or artistic manifestos. My intuition is my most important guide. I find inspiration in nature, in careful observation, and in the experiences that life brings me. Whether I am painting, drawing, creating textile art, or, in everyday life, designing interiors, choosing clothes, or setting a table, I am always seeking harmony in color, form, and proportion. I believe that beauty arises from balance and from a mindful relationship with the world around us.<\/p>\n
It is this sensitivity that connects all areas of my creative practice. I am a \u201cmulti\u201d artist \u2013 I move freely between different media and forms of expression while remaining true to my own sensitivity and way of seeing the world.<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
